Jonathan Lifflander is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. He received his PhD in Computer Science in 2016 at UIUC (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) researching parallel computing at the Parallel Programming Laboratory (PPL), advised by Laxmikant (Sanjay) V. Kale. His research interests span high-performance computing, concurrency, programming languages, and systems and is focused on developing new programming and execution models for large-scale concurrent systems, such as supercomputers or wide, shared-memory nodes.
