Matt Cummins is a senior software engineer in the Bloomberg’s Infrastructure Engineering group, where he has worked since 2017. His interests in C++ metaprogramming originated from his passion for game engine development, which required additional build steps to generate metadata for system components. This subsequently led him to explore compiler and language design. He has been involved in the ISO C++ Committee since 2025.
